Operation Farm on Tour
In October 2010 we visited three different, inspiring community growing projects around Greater Manchester. We went to Grassroots, a community care project in Oldham, Hulme Community Garden Centre and Glebelands Market Garden. Each took a slightly different approach, whether they be run by the council, as a charity or as a social enterprise. We’re planning to use our experiences in the future development of Operation Farm.
